Connecting Industry and Education

Weald Technology is a Social Enterprise with a mission to inspire people to pursue engineering and technology related careers by designing and delivering industry-led workshops, challenges, and projects. The business aims to spend at least 50% of its time on school activities, with at least 10% of available hours given voluntarily in support of school-age STEM. A majority of our profit is reinvested in the business to deliver this mission. The STEM Reports on this page show our record in terms of engagement (types, numbers, and percentages).

We are always seeking corporate supporters to help us deliver more activities. We can tailor workshops to suit your work and deliver them independently, or assist/train your own engineers to deliver them. Giving your staff a chance to demonstrate their knowledge and passion for engineering has been shown to increase the morale and confidence of your workforce, and we have the resources to train them in presentation skills if they require our support.

We can work in your local area to help raise your profile and help you engage with your potential future employees, or we can work nationally to jointly deliver STEM and your message. If you would like to support our work please contact us on 01825 761890 or education@weald-tech.co.uk

Weald are pushing forward the boundaries of electric vehicle technology and, as we so often see, the work done for racing machines becomes mainstream just a few years later. They understand the technology and the commitment to make change happen makes them a team to watch as the green growth agenda moves forward.
